Smriti Halls (Author) Smriti Halls is an internationally bestselling award-winning childrens author published in more than 40 languages worldwide. Smriti is a former Writer in Residence for Booktrust and is a patron for the School Library Association. South Indian by birth British by nationality and London-loving at heart she lives and works near Richmond Park with her husband and their three sons. Clare Fennell (Illustrator) Clare Fennell studied Illustration and Graphic Design at De Montfort University Leicester and went on to work in a design studio before illustrating over 35 books. She loves working in collage and finishing in Photoshop to clear up all the messy bits. Clare works from her home studio in Leicestershire with three crazy cats tons of coffee and good tunes.
