Chris Bradford is the multi-million copy selling author of the Young Samurai, Bodyguard and Jake and Jen series. Renowned for his dynamic author events and his ‘method writing’ technique, Chris is a black belt martial artist, qualified professional bodyguard and former musician. His life goal is #GettingKidsReading Monique is a Jamaican-born illustrator residing in the small pocket of reality between time and space (also known as Miami). After receiving her BFA in illustration from Ringling College she made a professional start as an Illustration resident at Buzzfeed. She continues to draw, focusing on historical costuming, magic, and women in power. When not drawing, she’s deeply mired in pop culture, refining her spicy foods palette and lamenting no longer living the “island girl” lifestyle.
