Join in the counting musical fun with this brand-new picture book from the author of Giraffes Can't Dance!

When a music-loving dog meets a fox with a fiddle, they decide to start a BOOGIE-WOOGIE ANIMAL BAND!

Before long, the pair are joined by a lion with a lute, a tiger with a tuba, and a piano-playing penguin. As more friends join them, the band keeps getting bigger and bigger and BIGGER!

But there's one band member missing . . . Who could it be?

Count and jiggle along with this toe-tapping rhyming celebration of music and rhythm from stand-out pairing Giles Andreae (Giraffes Can't Dance) and Nick East (Christopher Pumpkin).

Giles Andreae is the author of many top-selling, award-winning picture books. These include Elephant Me, Rumble in the Jungle, Commotion in the Ocean and I Love My Mummy. However, it is for the international bestseller Giraffes Can't Dance that he is best known. Giles is also the creator of Purple Ronnie, Britain's favourite stickman, and of the artist/philosopher, Edward Monkton. These two ranges of greetings cards, books and merchandise have made Giles the country's top-selling living poet. Giles lives with his wife, Victoria, a children's clothes designer, and their four children by the river in Oxfordshire. Nick East is the illustrator of the bestselling TOTO THE NINJA CAT series, written by Dermot O'Leary. He is also the illustrator of Michelle Robinson's popular GOODNIGHT . . . series. He worked for many years as a museum designer but has always been a storyteller whether, as a child, filling sketchbooks with quirky characters or, as a designer, displaying a collection of ancient artefacts. Nick is based in York.
