Nigel has also collaborated on a number of film-scenarios, most notably Ascendancy (dir. Bennett, 1981) and Intimacy (dir. Chéreau, 2001), both of which won Best Film at the Berlin Film Festival. Theatre work most recently produced includes a stage adaptation of Le Grand Meaulnes and French translations of Edward II and The Duchess Of Malfi.
