Susan Mayes graduated from Leeds University, UK, with a degree in Creative Arts, studying art and literature. She began her writing career as an author of children's non-fiction, later spreading her literary wings to write children's picture storybooks, as well as creative early learning titles. She is a previous winner of the Science Book Prize awarded by COPUS - The Committee on the Public Understanding of Science. Emma is an illustrator from Barcelona specialising in children's illustration. She lives in a small village near the mountains, and nature and animals are her greatest inspiration. She also has a little daughter with whom she enjoys doing crafts and creating characters. She loves working on super cute projects, especially for toddlers, toy design and characters design. Her illustrations are made digitally using Photoshop and her Wacom tablet. One of her dreams is to have her own texts published.
