Men continue to outnumber women in numerous technical STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) fields such as, engineering and computer science. Amanda’s research is specifically concerned with using new technologies to engage girls in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) in order to increase the representation of girls and women in these fields.
