A loner and an introvert, Chris has worked in one of Brighton's movie theatres for years. It's the kind of job that people drift through. When a new colleague joins, Chris feels she's found a real friend to spend time with and share things with.
But as Chris and Dan become closer, she realises that he's dealing with complicated mental health issues that are playing havoc with his ability to work and take care of himself. Katriona Chapman is an illustrator and comic creator based in London. She's exhibited with the Association of Illustrators and the National Exhibition of Wildlife Art. She co-created the anthology Tiny Pencil and contributes to Ink & Paper and Save Our Souls. She created Katzine which won Best Ongoing Series in the 2017 Broken Frontier Awards.
Her graphic memoir, Follow Me In, appeared on 'Best of 2018' lists from Gosh Comics, Your Chicken Enemy, Multiversity Comics, The Quietus and The Comics Journal and won 'Best Non-Fiction Work' in the 2018 Broken Frontier Awards.
