John Law is a native Yorkshireman, though he has lived in the South East of England since 1970. He started taking photographs of public transport in the 1960s and continues to do so to this day, Since the mid '70s, he has also developed an interest in traditional beer and has long been a member of the Campaign for Real Ale. Working for British Rail meant that John was able to visit all parts of the UK and further afield. He has had many photographs published and has written several magazine articles.
