Drawing on insider perspectives and best-practice examples, the authors meld real-world advice with essential theory, from ethical considerations to key terms and strategies. This ninth edition features expanded coverage of new and social media, Artificial Intelligence, mis- and disinformation, and issues around diversity and inclusion. New sections on social media apps and the software required for producing newscasts are also introduced.
