While other books only cover the basics, this one explores the history, construction, magical properties, and ritual uses of brooms. The witch's broom is one of the most loved magical tools, but not many practitioners know how to fully make and use it. Chelsea Townsend and Gypsey Elaine Teague delve into the history, lore, magic, and craft of brooms. They teach you not only how to create your personal broom, but also how to use it in spells, rituals, and magical circles. Chelsea and Gypsey help you make the perfect broom, presenting the metaphysical properties of over 40 species of wood, deity correspondences, divination methods, and sewing techniques. The authors also teach you about the five types of brooms, how to consecrate and retire a broom, and how to use a broom in sabbats and other rituals. No matter your skill level, this book will add a powerful new ally to your practice. 'This is THE book you need if you want to expand your magical horizons.' Debra L. Burris, author of Weather Magic.
