Builth Wells History Tour offers an insight into the fascinating history of the town of Builth Wells in Powys. Authors Mal Morrison and Rob Warlow guide us around its well-known streets and buildings, showing how its famous landmarks used to look and how they have changed over the years, as well as exploring its lesser-known sights and hidden corners. With the help of a handy location map, readers are invited to follow a timeline of events and discover for themselves the changing face of Builth Wells.
Mal Morrison has a lifelong fascination with local history and the majority of his published work reflects this. His first publication was "A pictorial history of Builth Wells" in 1989 and more recently co-authored "Photographs of old Builth Wells". Now semi-retired he lectures in local colleges and to the military on health and safety and advanced first aid and is an active member of the local heritage society. He lives in central Wales. Rob Warlow is a local historian based in Builth Wells. He is he co-author of two previous books with Mal Morrison on the heritage and history of Builth Wells.
