The exercises in this book teach you new scales, new fingerings, new patterns and new ideas – helping you master phrases that seemed impossible on the bass. Bunny's unique approach will get your fingers “thinking” in new ways on the fretboard, and you'll explore different modes and arpeggios in new patterns and positions. As you work through the lessons, you'll find your “finger intelligence” expanding.
Bernard Bunny Brunel has recorded and performed with many giants of the music industry. Notables include Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, Tony Williams, Al Jarreau, Nathalie Cole, Larry Coryell, Al Dimeola, Mike Stern, Joe Farrell, and many others. As a soundtrack composer Bunny collaborated with Clint Eastwood in creating the main theme (Claudia's theme) for the award winning film, "The Unforgiven" and as a designer, Bunny created a line of electric bass guitars for Carvin Co., as well as an electric upright bass. Brunel regularly gives seminars on his unique approach to the instrument. He has written several instruction books. Bunny has released 7 solo albums; "MOMENTUM," "IVANHOE," "TOUCH," "DEDICATION," "FOR YOU TO PLAY," "L.A. ZOO." and the fusion group "CAB", the Grammy Nominated "CAB 2" and "CAB4" with Tony MacAlpine, Brian Auger and Dennis Chambers.
