Universal access to information and communication technologies represents an indispensable prerequisite for people with impairments’ equal participation in societal life. Despite legal regulations and economic advantages, accessible web sites are rarely implemented in private sector organizations. This book introduces a holistic, managerial approach to identify business impacts of web accessibility in three industry sectors. The findings of this case study research include organizations’ experiences with web accessibility implementation and generate a sound basis for management decision recommendations. Moreover, a flexible business model for an Austrian web accessibility quality mark is introduced that facilitates and accelerates a national implementation.
