Carol is an associate professor at a UK university, and leads an outreach and research group. She began teaching as a physics lecturer and has worked in education for over 30 years. Carol is an experienced curriculum designer and has written textbooks for Collins and many different organisations. Mark Edwards has been a Head of Science for 8 years and has been a KS3-5 Physics teacher for over 30 years including teaching IGCSE Physics for over 10 years. During this time he has worked with the Institute of Physics and STEM Learning to offer training to non-specialist Physics teachers across the UK. He has written for many publishers across their KS3-5 Physics ranges including textbooks, revision guides, workbooks and practice examination papers. Dr Jeremy Pollard is an experienced former Physics teacher and current Principal Examiner. He taught for 30 years, 20 of those as Head of Science. He has taught across the full range of Biology, Physics and Chemistry from KS3 to A-level, and is a specialist in Applied Science. He is the author of numerous textbooks, workbooks, revision guides and teacher guides, and he currently delivers revision masterclasses preparing students for science examinations. Alom is a Physics teacher, writer, film-maker, and science communicator. As well as revision guides, he writes popular science books for children and adults, and works with organisations including The Royal Institution, UCL, The Institute of Physics, and BBC Bitesize in science communication. His creative approach to science communication and teaching have been recognised with fellowships from the National Endowment for Science Technology and the Arts (NESTA) and The Nuffield Foundation.
