Cambridge International AS Level English General Paper Teacher’s Guide
The Collins International AS English General series provides an easy-to-use, international course that supports students in developing the key skills required for the Cambridge International AS Level English General Paper (8021).
We are working with Cambridge Assessment International Education towards endorsement of this series to support the Cambridge International AS Level English General Paper (8021) for examination from 2028.
The Teacher’s Guide provides everything teachers need to teach with confidence using the Student’s Book, providing full coverage of the Cambridge International AS Level English General Paper syllabus.
· Provides clear, quick-reference guidance for teaching each unit, outlining the intentions and key outcomes as well as highlighting any support that may be required for specific tasks.
· Models how to analyse, evaluate and interpret arguments, ideas and texts – building transferable skills and approaches that can then be applied to other sources on contemporary issues relevant to your class and setting.
· Improves students’ confidence in explaining, analysing and evaluating multi-disciplinary issues, developing informed opinions and communicating arguments through carefully structured tasks.
· Includes an answer key for each unit, with example responses provided.
The course consists of a Teacher’s Guide, Student’s Book and online subscription. (The Teacher’s Guide and digital subscription will not go through the endorsement process for the Cambridge Pathway).
