I'm Captain Danger, and this is the story of my craziest adventure yet!
It all starts when a time-ghost crashes my birthday party. Time-ghosts can cause all sorts of trouble when they get lost, so it's up to me to return her to the beginning of time, before my birthday gets ruined! Time travel is pretty risky though, there are all sorts of dangerous things in the past. Like hungry dinosaurs and black holes! But I'm the bravest captain ever, so this all sounds like fun to me. Victor Engbers is an artist, illustrator and author who lives in Amsterdam. He is the creator of the Awesome Adventures of Captain Danger picture book series, which you should definitely read (if you're not too scared). Captain Danger and the Stupid Shadow is also available from Pushkin Children's Books.
David Colmer has won many prizes for his translations, including the IMPAC Dublin Literary Award and the Independent Foreign Fiction Prize (precursor to the International Booker Prize).
