Guilherme Karsten lives in Blumenau, in southern Brazil. He is an award-winning author and illustrator, winner of the Jabuti Prize in Brazil, and the BookTrust StoryTime Prize in the UK. He has illustrated several books, both his own and some by other authors. His books include Aaahhh! (2020), which has been translated into several languages, Are You a Monster? (2022), Are You a Sleepy Monster? (2024) and Are You a Hungry Monster? (2025).
