Cataloging

This book offers solutions to the problems of recruitment, education, and training of cataloging librarians. Sheila S. SHEILA S. INTNER is a Professor of Library and Information Science in the Graduate School of Simmons College. She has authored Circulation Policy in Academic, Public, and School Libraries (Greenwood Press, 1987), and co-edited (with Janet Swan Hill) Recruiting, Educating, and Training Cataloging Librarians: Solving the Problems (Greenwood Press, 1989). She has also written numerous articles on librarianship.

JANET SWAN HILL is Associate Director for Technical Services in the University of Colorado Libraries, Boulder. She served as Director of Cataloging at Northwestern University and authored Classification of Library Materials. She has also contributed numerous articles to various scholarly and library journals.
