Through and Complete Overview of the Entire Field of Catalytic Membrane Reactors
Catalysis in membrane reactors is the subject of much research. During the past three decades, this technical concept has attracted substantial worldwide attention and process development efforts. Catalytic Membranes and Membrane Reactors covers this fascinating field and presents the key concepts and innovative ideas to the reader. It is based on a well-balanced multidisciplinary approach to appeal to a wide audience of readers. Sample topics discussed within the work include:
- Basic principles of membrane reactors
- The membrane reactor concept in a practical sense
- The multidisciplinary aspects of catalytic membranes and membrane reactors
- Emerging technologies and the latest research advances in the field
This book serves as a reference for understanding and applying the membrane reactor concept to research or production. Chemical engineers, process engineers, and professionals in the chemical and biotechnological industries will find value in it.
