He has postgraduate qualifications in Victorian Studies, Archaeology and Heritage and has published books and academic articles on a wide range of subjects, including five A Level textbooks published by Cambridge University Press and Heinemann. He is the owner of Bruton’s principal bookshop and also Chair of the Committee of the town’s museum. Nicola is a local history author who lives in Cheddar, Somerset.
