About Julia Hubery | Victoria Ball
Julia Hubery was born in Stamford and trained as an architect. She loves the countryside and nature and finds it a pool of inspiration to draw on in her writing. Julia now lives in Gosport with her husband and three children. Victoria Ball has been a freelance illustrator since graduating with a First Class in Illusration in 2002. Her first illustration job was for CITV series Ripley and Scuff. In 2008 she was short-lised for the Best Emerging Illustrator category at the Booktrust Early Years Awards.
