Robert Louis Stevenson (1850–1894) was an English author born in Edinburgh. Kathleen Olmstead has written more than a dozen fiction and non-fiction books for young adults, and her short fiction and poetry have appeared in literary journals including Fireweed and Taddle Creek. She has written several books in the Classic Starts® series including Classic Starts®: Oliver Twist and Classic Starts®: Anne of Green Gables. She lives in Toronto, Canada.
