He is the author of Advanced Rock Climbing and the coauthor of Rock Climbing: The AMGA Single Pitch Manual, which is the textbook for the AMGA’s single pitch instructor program. He was Sylvester Stallone’s climbing instructor for the movie Cliffhanger.
