Collins CSEC® Mathematics provides a new approach to the study of the CSEC® mathematics syllabus. Fully grounded in the practical application of maths in the world today, it features clear explanations, differentiated practice exercises and guidance on the School Based Assessment.
Collins CSEC® Mathematics has been written for the CXC® syllabus effective for examinations from May-June 2018. It provides full coverage of this syllabus, with real-world and everyday contexts for all topics to help Caribbean students understand why maths is so important for the world today, with guidance on the School Based Assessment, worked examples, and differentiated – or graded – practice questions to help students understand the level they are working at and the level they need to be working at to achieve a good grade. Written by a highly experienced teacher in the Caribbean.
This textbook covers everything you need for CSEC® Mathematics. What is different – we believe – is our unique approach, devised to help more students pass, and to help more students achieve a top grade, with topics ordered following a spiral curriculum approach that will help you learn. All topics are fully contextualised to everyday life and to help with the SBA. You understand how you are tracking against CSEC® standards with graded practice exercises, which will give confidence for the exam, and will allow you to know where you need to seek assistance or put in more practice.
