Discover real colors found in nature in this vibrant STEM book about animals, plants, and the world around us.

What does raspberry red look like in the wild? Can you spot turquoise in a butterfly’s wings or a shimmering stone? Colors in Nature invites children ages 6–9 on a vibrant journey through the natural world, exploring how colors appear in animals, plants, minerals, and landscapes.

With magnificent hand-painted illustrations and a playful, sensory approach, this book helps kids connect colors to the world around them—how they might feel, sound, or even taste. From the golden glow of honey to the soft pink of flower petals, each spread is a celebration of nature’s palette. Whether your child is an aspiring artist, a curious scientist, or simply loves beautiful books, Colors in Nature is a joyful celebration of the world’s most dazzling details.

  • STEM Meets Art – Combines science, nature, and color theory in a way that’s fun and accessible for young learners.
  • Sensory Exploration & Visual Thinking – Encourages kids to imagine how colors relate to texture, sound, and emotion.
  • Perfect for Budding Artists & Nature Lovers – Includes a mini painting course at the end to inspire creativity and hands-on learning.
  • Award-Winning Series – Part of the Nature’s Wonderful Colors collection, selected by the Wall Street Journal as one of the “Best Picture Books for Kids.”
