Come and See brings together essays by theologians, ethicists, philosophers, artists and media experts exploring different facets of what it means to be a witness to Jesus Christ in today’s world. The conversation encompasses explorations in Old and New Testament theology, Christian doctrine, arts and aesthetics, continental philosophy and Christian ethics. The book challenges the Church to see Christian witness its primary calling in relation to the culture in which it lives. Such a vocation calls for engagement with the mind, the imagination and the attractiveness of a transformed life. It is the challenge of the woman who met Jesus at the well who then invited people to ‘come and see’, and of John the Baptist who points the way to Christ. This witness is creative, critical and compelling and leads others to the source of all life, truth and wisdom.

Contributors to this volume include Andrew Davison, Carmody Grey, Belle Tindall-Riley and Hannah Steele, with a foreword by N. T. Wright.
