Stephen Hodder OBE is a preeminent English architect, former president of the RIBA (2013-2015), who won the first ever Stirling Prize in 1996 for designing the Centenary Building at the University of Salford.
He has been in practice since 1983 and formed Hodder Associates in 1992, which went on to become Hodder + Partners. The firm would win the Royal Fine Art Commission / Sunday Times Building of the Year Award for Colne Swimming Pool in Lancashire in their first year. Shortly afterwards Stepen won a limited competition to extend Arne Jacobsen’s Grade I Listed St Catherine’s College in Oxford and established a client relationship which has now extended for some 20 years.
