Getting continuous provision right is about ensuring that everything in your environment has been created to help children to learn in the absence of an adult.

Continuous Provision in the Early Years will help you understand the purpose of continuous provision, how to ensure it is effective, and how to plan and tailor your activities to meet the interests and needs of the children in your setting.

The book contains a mixture of theory and practical suggestions for both indoor and outdoor continuous provision. It also includes interesting case studies based on Alistair's extensive experience in early years settings.

Highly readable and based on tried and tested techniques, this is an indispensable guide for all early years practitioners looking to get continuous provision right and make a positive impact.
