What doctrines of the Bible are so important to salvation that there can be no compromise on them?

Conviction Without Compromise explores fifteen essential doctrines of the Bible that are crucial to salvation, as reflected in the patristic creeds. The authors also identify and explain a revelation essential and an interpretation essential, providing laser-like clarity as to why these doctrines are fundamental to the Christian Faith.

Conviction Without Compromise carefully differentiates these essential doctrines from nonessential ones, which—while important—do not relate specifically to salvation. This work acknowledges the diversity of views among Christians on various doctrines, while remaining anchored by the principle: “In essentials, unity; in nonessentials, liberty; and in all things, charity.”

Norman L. Geisler (1932–2019), who earned a Doctor of Philosophy from Loyola University, taught theology, philosophy, and apologetics on the college or graduate level for over 50 years at institutions including Trinity Evangelical Seminary, Dallas Theological Seminary, and Liberty University. He co-founded Southern Evangelical Seminary and Veritas Evangelical Seminary, now known as Veritas International University, where he served as Chancellor and Distinguished Professor of Apologetics. He was also President Emeritus and Distinguished Senior Professor of Theology and Apologetics at Southern Evangelical Seminary. An accomplished author, Geisler has penned or coauthored more than 100 books, including I Don't Have Enough Faith to be an Atheist, Twelve Points that Show Christianity is True, and The Big Book of Apologetics. Ron Rhodes, a Dallas Theological Seminary alumnus, holds a Master of Theology (1983) and a Doctor of Theology (1986). He has spoken extensively across the United States and Canada, and has taught at several institutions including Dallas Theological Seminary, Talbot Seminary, Biola University, Southern Evangelical Seminary, Veritas International University, and Briercrest Bible College.
