MEREDITH RAE FRASER is a proud citizen of the Cherokee Nation. She enjoys growing stronger in her culture, while helping others do the same. Meredith helped establish a new Cherokee Community Center enabling families to gather for meals, fellowship and cultural classes. She creates books that entertain but also expose children to the Native American lifestyle. She lives on the Northeast corner of the Cherokee Reservation with her husband, Bob, and their rescue dog, Humphrey.

Alex finds that picture books have a special kind of magic to them, making them both delightful and profound.
