Poetter is the author or coauthor of numerous journal articles on curriculum, teacher education, teacher research, and school reform as well as several books including The Education of Sam Sanders (AuthorHouse, 2003).

Thomas L. Goodney holds an M.A. in Speech from Miami University and is a doctoral student in the Department of Educational Leadership at Miami University, Oxford, Ohio. He is the principal at Fairbanks High School in Milford Center, Ohio.

Jennifer L. Bird holds bachelors and masters degrees in English Education from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio. She is a doctoral student in the Department of Educational Leadership at Miami University.
