The Mediterranean world has long had strong cultural links to Great Britain as well as to the United States. Christine Reynier is Professor of English Literature at the University Montpellier III. She has published extensively on modernist writers; her latest book is Virginia Woolf’s Ethics of the Short Story (2009). With Marie-Eve Therenthy, she has created the seminar Les Médiateurs de la Méditerranée, and edited Les Ecrivains anglo-américains et la Méditerranée (2010).
