Brewer has worked as a bookseller, a writer, an actor and a narrator/director of audiobooks. He is the co-editor of the critically acclaimed anthologies, Meeting Across the River (Bloomsbury USA), Occupied Earth (Polis Books) and Culprits (Polis Books).
