Cultural Anthropology

Dr. Anand Murti Mishra is an Associate Professor, School of Study of Anthropology and Tribal Study, Shaheed Mahendra Karma University, Jagdalpur, District Bastar ( C.G.). Dr. Mishra is M.Sc. in Anthropology from Dr. Hari Singh Gaur University, Sagar (M.P.) and has been awarded (Ph.D.) by the same University. He has also done his M.A. in Sociology and master of Social work. His work experience included bio-social, health and rehabilitation studies in various urban and rural areas of Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. He has worked in various Institutes like lndian Institute of Forest Management ( Bhopal), Faith Health Private Ltd. (New Delhi) and Guru Ghasidas University (Bilaspur). He has published over seventy research paper in National and International journals. He has presented research paper in more than eighteen National and International Seminars/Conferences workshops. He is the Author of six books. He has Co-ordinated two research projects as a Principal Investigator. He has organised two National seminars of Bastar University as the Co-organizing Secretary and organizing secretary. He is in the memberof Editorial Board of various reputed Journal . He is a life member of different academic bodies like, Indian Science Congress Association, Indian Anthropological Society, Indian National Confederation and Academic of Anthropologist. He was awarded as a Best Teacher and Promoter Award from Jabalpur Managemen Association in 2014. Dr Mishra nominated as a member of management committee of Indira Gandhi Manav sanghraylya Bhopal(MP).
