Journey through the world of cute and creepy manga art in this striking colouring book.

Lurking inside are 45 dark yet strangely adorable manga and anime-influenced scenes. Prepare to encounter eerie monsters, broken puppets, enchanted toys, undersea creatures and haunted forests.

Some of the scenes are inspired by eastern mythology and Japanese folklore, such as snow spirit Yuki-onna and mischief-bringing toyols. Others originate from western tales, such as selkie ‘seal folk’ and majestic kelpies. Also included are beautiful yet disturbing images from the artists' own imaginations, such as terrified dumplings running from a bowl of noodles, a girl being carried away by monstrous balloons, and a zombie enjoying the company of her stuffed bunnies.

These gorgeous, intricate manga pieces have been created by a trio of artists, two of whom are based in a studio in Singapore and the other based in England.

Desti (Author)
Growing up in Singapore under the strong influence of Japanese anime and manga, Desti turned to art to better express herself and make new friends. As a professional illustrator with Collateral Damage Studios, she has worked on a good number of colouring book projects. She is also the author of Kemono Singapore, an anime colouring book about Singapore's wildlife.

Harry Thornton (Author)
Currently living in London, Harry Thornton is an illustrator and comic artist. Inspired by manga and anime, he produces hand-drawn illustrations, focusing on linework, with a passion for anything cute.

Jolene Yeo (Author)
Jolene Yeo is a resident artist at Collateral Damage Studios, a Singapore-based illustration studio specializing in manga art. She graduated from 3DSense Media School, having studied Concept Design and Illustration. Her dream of becoming an illustrator started when she was very young, and she now works in both 2D and 3D art styles.
