This is the first international monograph highlighting the work of Dana Oberson Architects. Known for its refined material palette, elegant restraint, and deep dialogue with nature and context, the studio s aesthetic brings both timelessness and innovation to residential, hospitality, and cultural spaces. Showcasing a carefully curated selection of residential and public projects in Israel and worldwide including several never-before-seen works this richly illustrated volume captures the firm s evolving vision and creative process. With a foreword by noted design historian and critic Daniella Ohad, the book also features writing by Dana Oberson herself, offering personal insight into the studio s philosophy, methods, and inspirations. This is a must-read for architects, designers, and anyone passionate about contemporary architecture that harmonizes beauty, function, and a profound sense of place.
Dana Oberson is an Israeli architect and founder, in 2022, of her eponymous firm, Dana Oberson Architects. Her work blends minimalist design with natural materials, emphasizing harmony with the Mediterranean landscape and light. Daniella Ohad is a design historian, educator, curator, and writer with a PhD from the Bard Graduate Center. For over two decades, she has taught design history, theory, interiors, and material culture at institutions including Parsons, Cooper Union, Pratt, and Christie s Education. Her work spans publishing, curating, hosting design programs, and advising museums, auction houses, and private collectors.
