Daniel Widrig explores the boundaries between art, design, and architecture through an experimental, process-driven practice. His works examine form and materiality—both digitally and physically—ranging from sculptures and wearables to architectural interventions and virtual objects. This account of his most significant projects and collaborations provides insight into his creative approach. From digitally conceived concepts to realized installations, the book reveals the multifaceted nature of Widrig’s practice, highlighting his engagement with space, material, and the delicate interplay between the natural and the artificial.
Daniel Widrig is an artist, architect, and designer based in London. After graduating from the Architectural Association in 2006 and working with Zaha Hadid, he founded a multidisciplinary studio spanning sculpture, fashion, furniture, and architecture. Widrig is internationally recognized for his pioneering use of digital design and fabrication technologies. His work has been exhibited at the Centre Pompidou, the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts, and the Victoria and Albert Museum, among others.
