Architecture as a social discipline
Making women in architecture visible is the mission of Diversity in Architecture e.V. (DIVIA). Following its successful debut in 2023, the DIVIA Award celebrates its second edition in 2025, honoring outstanding women architects worldwide. From 25 nominees, a distinguished international jury selected six trailblazing finalists, each shaping architecture with vision and purpose: Trần Thị Ngụ Ngôn (Vietnam), Izaskun Chinchilla (Spain), Patcharada Inplang (Thailand), Carolina Rodas and Carla Chávez (Ecuador), Surella Segú (Mexico), Cazú Zegers (Chile). Inspired by Lina Bo Bardi's belief that architecture is a social discipline, this catalogue explores their journeys, challenges, and contributions. A tribute to their leadership and cultural impact, it recognizes their work and inspires future generations of women in architecture.
