This is the first book fully devoted to the double fianchetto for both colors, White and Black.
GM Daniel Hausrath draws upon his vast experience to provide guidance on how to use the different
kinds of set-ups the double fianchetto has available for White and Black. In a clear manner, Daniel explains the many subtle move orders, the critical resulting middle game structures and typical endgame positions.
His guidance through the presented games will bring you an immediate gain in the understanding of the benefits of the ‘Double Fianchetto’.
This is an ideal book for all club players and is written by one of the leading experts on the ‘Double Fianchetto’.
Daniel Hausrath was born on the 8th of April 1976 in Mülheim, Germany. Between his school graduation in 1995 and beginning university in 1997, he completed the requirements for his International Master title. Despite then crossing the 2500 mark and exceeding it for several years, illness dictated that he did not become a Grandmaster until 2013 when he made his third norm in Biel. Daniel is a regular participant in various European leagues (including the Bundesliga of his native country) and has been associated with the Mülheim club for over a decade. Away from the board, he is father to three young children.
