A new series on a hugely popular topic – the human body! Next up, award-winning writer Dr Roopa Farooki explores the wonders of the digestive system.

While you’re sitting down to eat, your food is going on a wild rollercoaster ride … through your gut! Follow your food on its exciting journey and find out where it leads! With words by medical doctor and writer of acclaimed memoir Everything Is True, Roopa Farooki, and pictures by award-winning artist Viola Wang, this is a lively look at how different bits of the digestive system work and (just as importantly) how they work TOGETHER... As well as sharing handy tips for looking after your gut!

Don't miss the other books in the series ... starting with The Brilliant Brain and The Super Skeleton!

Praise for The Brilliant Brain :
"Making non-fiction simple but still useful is not easy, but this book succeeds. It connects interesting facts to experience and is appealingly colourful." The Sunday Times

Her writing has been awarded the John C. Laurence Prize and listed three times for the Women's Prize. She is also a lecturer on the Masters in Creative Writing at the University of Oxford.
