Dr Roopa Farooki is both a medical doctor and a writer for adults and children, including six literary novels that have been translated into over twelve languages. Her writing has been awarded the John C. Laurence Prize and listed three times for the Women's Prize. She is also a lecturer on the Masters in Creative Writing at the University of Oxford.
Viola Wang is a graduate of the Children's Book Illustration MA at the Cambridge School of Art. She was born in China, where she studied oil painting before moving to the UK to work as a graphic designer. In 2021 she was selected for a scholarship programme at the Royal Drawing School, where she now runs children's workshops.
