Rose House is buzzing with excitement as the girls prepare for the party of the summer! There is one girl, however, who isn't joining in with the fun. It's Star's birthday but with all the excitement her friends have forgotten! What can she do? Will she get to celebrate her birthday?
Welcome to the ultimate girls’ dream house! With an exciting story and lots of press-out pieces in this beautifully crafted pop-up book, readers can enjoy creating their own adventures as they travel through this stylish party. Girls will love everything—from the swimming pool to the disco and dressing room. This is our fourth book from paper engineer extraordinaire Maggie Bateson, the creator of Dinosaur Safari and Acorn Farm.
Maggie Bateson is a talented paper-engineer who has created many elaborate and beautiful carousel and pop-up books for children. Maggie is best known for her collaborative work with Louise Comfort on the intricate My Fairy…carousel series to Macmillan. She has also created a pop-up version of Angelina Ballerina. For Simon & Schuster, Maggie has worked on a number of books including Monster House, Dinosaur Safari and Alan Snow's How Santa Really Works. Maggie lives in Buckinghamshire.

Karen Wall is a freelance designer and illustrator. Together with her husband, Jim Helmore she has created many picture books including the award winning Stripy Horse series, Letterbox Lil, which won the Sheffield Book Prize and the very messy Oh No, Monster Tomato!
