Laura Bunting (Author)
Laura Bunting is a children’s author whose books are renowned for their humour and heart. She strives to create stories that inspire a love of reading, and act as a springboard for meaningful conversations and the asking of questions about life, love, ice-cream and everything in between.

Laura’s books have been published around the world, translated into multiple languages, and have been nominated for a number of awards, including a Notable award for Liarbird from the Children’s Book Council of Australia.

She lives on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast with her husband and co-creator, Philip Bunting, their three young children, and a gigantic cat named Miso.
The Ebb & Flo series is her latest co-creation with Philip.

Philip Bunting (Illustrator)
Philip Bunting is an author and illustrator, whose picture books deliberately encourage the reader to playfully poke around at the edges of their understanding. His books have been published in over 35 countries around the world, and have received multiple accolades.

Philip grew up in England’s Lake District, just down the road from Mrs Tiggy-Winkle’s place. He followed his heart to Australia in his early 20s, and now lives with his family on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.
