He serves as co-editor of Research in the History of Economic Thought and Methodology, and his current research concerns the development of the economics profession in the United States during the twentieth century. John B. Davis is Professor of Economics, Marquette University and editor of the Review of Social Economy and the Routledge series, “Advances in Social Economics.” Steven G. Medema is Professor of Economics at the University of Colorado at Denver. His research interests include law and economics, public economics, and the economic role of government in the history of economic thought. He serves as editor of the Journal of the History of Economic Thought.
