Subsequently, she served full time as the program coordinator for the Further Steps Forward Project, a Javits Grant program, from 2005-2009. Blauvelt returned to the classroom in the fall of 2009 and currently teaches seventh grade English in Nashua, NH. Blauvelt lives in Manchester, NH with her husband, two dogs, five cats, and the occasional son!
