This collection of essays initiates a conversation about the educational interests of the young and considers the potential for pedagogical transformation. Jeanne Adèle Kentel teaches in the Carnegie Faculty of Sport and Education at Leeds Metropolitan University and is Adjunct Professor at Brock University, Canada. She holds a doctorate in curriculum studies from the University of Alberta. Her current research is in the area of critical pedagogy, focusing upon gender, media, ecosophical education and multiple ways of knowing.
