Dr Alexandra Hay is an award‑winning educator and recipient of the prestigious National Teaching Fellowship (2025) for her leadership work at Manchester Metropolitan University. She is currently Programme Director for BA Education at Keele University, having previously served as Programme Leader for BA Education at Manchester Metropolitan University. Before moving into Higher Education, Alexandra taught in secondary schools for ten years. Her published research examines the transition from schoolteacher to academic and explores the lived realities of policy enactment in education.
Emmanuel Mufti is a Senior Lecturer BA Education at Manchester Metropolitan University. Previously he held posts at John Moores University and Liverpool Hope University. Publications include: Teaching & Learning and the Curriculum. Education Studies: An Introduction and Education Studies: Issues & Critical Perspectives.
