Sarah Greenberg, a 39-year-old food critic, never believed in magic. Her life in Chicago is quiet and predictable—until a chance encounter with her boyfriend’s teenage daughter unlocks a shocking family secret: Sarah has the power to do magic. Now, Sarah’s ordinary world is shattered as she learns she’s part of an ancient lineage of Magycians. But when a ruthless, centuries-old enemy, Zondra Bex, threatens to take her family’s beloved magic shop, Sarah is forced into a battle she never asked for. Zondra’s plans could unleash a power that would rule the Magyckal world—and only Sarah can stop her. To save everything—and everything—she loves, Sarah must master her newfound abilities, face her deepest fears, and confront an enemy far more skilled than she ever imagined. But can she embrace the magic within before it consumes her? Enchanting Sarah Greenberg is a fun paranormal women's fiction with heart, humor, and a touch of Jewish mythology. Fans of The Dresden Files and magical coming-of-age tales will love this spellbinding story of self-discovery, family, and fierce determination.
Jennifer Inglis is an author and humorist, and has studied comedy writing at The Second City in Chicago. An alumna of Northern Illinois University, she earned a bachelor’s degree in theater arts, and a master’s degree in teaching from National-Louis University. She formerly worked as a public school drama teacher, which meant she spent six years being ignored by middle school students. In a past life, she worked in professional theater in suburban Chicago, as a playwright, actor, assistant director, and producer, despite being a classic introvert who’d rather be home reading a book. Jennifer currently lives in Chicago and, when she’s not trying to dress up her cat, Daisy, in a variety of fetching hats (and failing miserably) she works as a freelance writer and proofreader.
