About Garth Ennis

Garth Ennis began his career on Crisis 2000 AD and the Judge Dredd Megazine for which he wrote Judge Dredd Strontium Dogs True Faith and others. Outside of the Galaxys Greatest Comic he is known for Preacher The Boys Hitman The Punisher and a great many war comics- including War Stories Battlefields Out Of The Blue The Stringbags and Sara.Carlos Ezquerra was the co-creator of Judge Dredd Strontium Dog Rat Pack Major Eazy and many other fan-favourite characters he designed the classic original Dredd costume as well as visually conceptualising Mega-City One. In addition to these credits he also illustrated A.B.C. Warriors Judge Anderson Tharg the Mighty and Cursed Earth Koburn amongst many other stories. Outside of the Galaxys Greatest Comic Ezquerra illustrated the first Third World War episodes in Crisis magazine and became a regular collaborator with Garth Ennis working on Adventures in the Rifle Brigade Bloody Mary Just a Pilgrim Condors The Magnificent Kevin and two special Preacher episodes. He died in 2018 but his profound influence on the world of comic art cannot be overstated.Peter Doherty is primarily known to fans of the Galaxys Greatest Comic as artist of the Young Death series which opened the Judge Dredd Megazines first volume but he has also contributed extensively to Judge Dredd working on the epic Judgment Day as well as many shorter stories including John Wagners classic Bury My Knee At Wounded Heart. Outside of 2000 AD Dohertys comic work includes The Dreaming Superman/Batman: Worlds Finest and a Grendel Tales series and Shaolin Cowboy.Dean Ormstons otherworldly pencils first graced the Judge Dredd {::}Megazine where he contributed to the epic Judge Dredd Judgement Day saga and pencilled the popular Raptaur. He is the co-creator of antique oddities Harke and Burr and has also pencilled Heavy Metal Dredd Judge Death Missionary Man Strange Cases Tales of Telguuth. Ormstons other non-2000 AD work includes The Crow The Invisibles The Monarchy Sandman and the DC/Vertigo series Lucifer and The Books of Magick and most recently Black Hammer published by Dark Horse. He also worked on character designs for the animated CGI series Reboot.
