Michael McDonagh brings over 47 years of experience in military, policing, and global sporting security leadership. A former OCU Commander in Counter Terrorism and Head of Security and Intelligence for a global financial institution, he also served as Senior Protective Security Advisor for the London 2012 Olympics. In 2013 Michael was awarded a Doctorate for his pioneering research on counter terrorism legislation, community protection and is a Chartered Security Professional. Michael advises on major event risk, resilience, and international threat landscapes, his insights draw from decades of frontline and strategic roles in protecting people, institutions, and global events from evolving security threats.

Charles Swanson served a full career in the British Royal Military Police (RMP), during which he specialised in Close Protection, Counter Terrorism and Protective Security, including the safety and security of British embassies abroad, military tattoos and international sports events. After leaving the British Armed Forces, Charles specialised in carrying out and teaching protective physical and electronic security risk management at a range of venues on a global platform. Charles is also a SABRE Assessor, a role in which he has been called upon to security assess public and private buildings in accordance with British Research Establishment (BRE) standards. He has recently carried out a number of Security Innovation assessments on behalf of the NPSA and the NCSC.
